Principals & PracticesQuin Rivers takes a collaborative approach in determining which community organization or county agency can best provide needed services. In cases where another agency can best serve, Quin Rivers will help organize resources; write grants and otherwise help seek necessary funding; provide administrative services, including payroll and bookkeeping; and help recruit staff and clients for the newly instituted services. In cases where Quin Rivers would make the best provider, the agency will take on the new service for the community.

One method of minimizing the encroachment of poverty in a community is to retain and circulate its capital. As an operating principle, Quin Rivers patronizes local businesses and hires locally whenever possible. By promoting the development of local businesses and programs within the community, Quin Rivers helps to develop and retain local capital.
