2005 Annual International Leadership Awards Dinner

The Board of Directors of the Hispanic Council on International Relations (HCIR) is proud to host the Annual International Leadership Awards Dinner that honors outstanding business, civic and corporate leaders dedicated to strengthening the Hispanic voice in foreign affairs.

HCIR is dedicated to foster greater awareness of global affairs, to encourage and promote Hispanic American participation in international relations and to heighten the Hispanic voice in foreign policy formulation and implementation. Every year the international and national communities show their support by sponsoring our International Leadership Awards Dinner.

Funds raised sustain the HCIR Leadership Training Initiative and administrative operations.

The HCIR Leadership Training Initiative comprises the HCIR International Public Policy Fellowships and the HCIR Public Policy in Foreign Affairs Internships. These programs select graduate and undergraduate students to participate in professional level work/study experiences and paid summer and semester-long internships. Their aim is to focus on trade, investment, security, development and other issues of importance to strengthening the infrastructure of the Americas. These experiences provide students a wealth of opportunities in the public and private sectors.
